Supporting Circle of Love

The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy Community Federal Credit Union for a toy drive supporting Circle of Love. Circle of Love provides Christmas to children in a variety of homeless and domestic violence shelters. Donation boxes were placed at all Legacy Credit Union branches and offices. Thanks to Legacy’s members and employees, the Foundation was able to assist Circle of Love in surprising the goal set for their 19th Annual Toy Drive. Over 700 children were able to have a joyful Christmas morning with presents under the tree thanks to the toy drive.


Supporting Shelby County DHR

The Legacy for Good Foundation was honored to fulfill the Christmas lists of two teenagers from Shelby County who were in foster care. We were able to provide them with every item on their wish list thanks for the support from our community and Legacy Credit Union employees and members during the Battle for Bragging Right fundraiser. Additionally, the Foundation was able to donate additional toys for children that have emergency placement into foster care.


Supporting the UAB Women and Infant’s Center

The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy CFCU for the first Books for Babies Drive. The community, Legacy members, and Legacy employees collected 172 new books to be given to parents and their babies in the NICU at the UAB Women and Infant’s Center. These books with help support UAB’s NICU Bookworms program.


Supporting Children’s of Alabama

The Legacy for Good Foundation and Legacy Credit Union partnered together to raise funds for Children’s of Alabama. In June, The Legacy for Children's Fundraiser raised over $5,400 for Children’s of Alabama. Legacy Credit Union employees went Casual for Cause to raise funds. Additionally, Legacy members were able to purchase Children’s of Alabama t-shirts in Legacy Credit Union branches.


Supporting Ronald McDonald House

 The Legacy for Good Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual Golf for Good Tournament at Top Golf Birmingham in April. Proceeds from the tournament went to Ronald McDonald House. The Foundation was able to donate over $4,000. In partnership with Legacy Credit Union, household supplies were collected at each Legacy branch from members and employees to donate to the Ronald McDonald House as well.
